Meet Charles Dabah
I currently work as a career specialist at Inspiration Corporation where I assist clients in enrolling in training programs and building employment readiness skills to better prepare for reentering the workforce. I love listening to and playing music, creating art, improvising, and wandering the outdoors.
My venture seeks to introduce holistic, engaging, and enriching art education into homeless shelters and transition centers in the city of Chicago to stimulate positive self-expression, connection to self and others, and community building for Chicago's homeless population. Through the provision of arts programming, participants will take a self-directed approach to producing art from which they can draw energy and positivity, and experience creative processes that are healing, centering, and can accelerate success in other areas of their lives.
